I am Sarah Berns-Zieve, aka BZ—an interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker driven by the belief that art is the closest thing we have to magic. My work bridges the personal and the collective, blending video, photography, dance, and creative direction to tell stories that connect people and transform communities.
As the founder of Arts Collective, a Baltimore-based non-profit, I am deeply committed to empowering creatives and building a sustainable ecosystem for art in my city.
My creative process is collaborative and grounded in movement, shaped by my background in dance and my belief in the power of shared experiences. Whether behind the camera or organizing initiatives, I see each project as a chance to build community and foster connection.
